Toner foil card fronts is the cardmaking cheat code — it creates such an easy card quickly, by running it through your laminator with some foil for that added glimmer OR you can leave it as is. Did you know that you can ink blend right over the foil and it’ll resist the ink? It allows you to add some color and it’s pretty!

Dark Cardstock + Heat Embossing | Honey Bee Stamps

I wanted something different from the usual pinks and reds for lovey dovey cards so I went in the complete opposite direction, and went with dark green cardstock, even darkening it up more by inking up the edges. I do love this layered stencil that I used with clear embossing ink with a satin pearl embossing powder for a really pretty background.

Subtle Heat Embossing | Honey Bee Stamps

I love border stamps — they make for a quick card and helps portion off your card. To make it even easier, just pull out a scrap, heat emboss the image and then add it to a card panel like this card. I wanted a softer color so I also added a strip of yellow to further section it off and ended up stamping my sentiment directly on. It was totally unintentional but instead, a happy coincidence!
