Embossing powders are fun — I usually stick with neutrals but this fireworks background will be one to revisit with different colors to build up such a colorful sky. It was the perfect background for these mischief makers!

I thought it would be fun for a colorful accent border featuring these broomsticks. I know not all the colors blend perfectly together but if you’re careful enough, no blending is necessary. I thought it turned out perfectly.

Happy Wednesday — I’m sharing this magical birthday card today and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I love a background stamp that can help set a scene for you and this is one of them. Although it will stamp out a 6×6 background, I really wanted to showcase the Stars stencil as well, so my solution was to cut a partial part of it! What do you think?
