Embossing folders are one of those craft supplies that have grown on me. I didn’t feel like they are always super versatile but I kinda love the ones that you can use again and again. I really love this floral one and tried out a technique thats new to me. I think I still have to work on it but practice makes perfect!

Summertime is almost here and I love these products that create the perfect watery effect. I added a bit of my own waves by just a simple technique… ripping!

Hi friends! There have been so many amazing projects already shared in the past four days of the blog hop and there’s so much inspiration today as well! Be sure to check it all out and today’s lineup!
For today, I’m sharing this fun shaker card that I put together using one of the new items from Pretty Pink Posh’s May Release. Personally, there’s a lot of babies coming into my life and this release is perfect for creating a ton of cards to welcome the new little ones!
I’ve been really loving all the different variations of the words stencils, especially this Baby Words Stencil. I love being able to use this over colored cardstock to create a tone on tone look with very little effort.
This Onesie Shaker is such a perfect little die cut. I used both pieces to create this die cut, and used the bigger Onesie to cut out vellum as well. I used double sided adhesive strips to create that volume I need to add little shaker bits. Once I had that ready, I added the Spring Breeze Shaker Beads which are really fun and they make the perfect shaker noise.
To finish off this card, I added a quick sentiment from the Baby Animals stamp set.
Be sure to stop by the previous days of inspiration for the Pretty Pink Posh blog!
Alcohol inks are really fun to play with and I end up creating a ton of backgrounds at a time. Sometimes you love how they turn out and sometimes, you don’t. That’s ok! Here I really love it but I still paired it with a cover plate… if you hated it, you could also do the same and it is a hidden pop of color right underneath.

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and add ons!
The first card focuses on the Premium Kit. I immediately fell in love with the Balloon Background Cling Stamp — it is so versatile. You can use it for birthdays, celebrations, new babies, and more! I picked out a few fun colors to smoosh ink with: Taffy, Lemon Drop, Blue Raspberry, Splash, Blue Hawaii, and Thistle reactive Inks. I used a piece of plastic I had to pick up the ink after I put it on a glass surface and sprayed a little bit of water. Using these on top of the Luxe White Watercolor paper, it created a really colorful background. I used the Congrats Fancy Die to cut out the sentiment from this inky background and removed the border. I matted it on Pitch Black Cardstock to really make the Congrats Fancy Die pop!
My second project features one of this month’s add ons dies, the Hooray Birthday Cover Plate. I pulled out a rainbow array of cardstock: Cherry, Papaya, Canary, Kiwi, Peacock, Amethyst, and Ultra Pink. I trimmed down the cardstock to half inch strips. I covered an A2 panel with double sided adhesive and covered the panel with strips diagonally. I used the Hooray Birthday Cover Plate and die cut it using Black Glitter cardstock. I added the die cut panel right over the rainbow striped panel so all those colors pop through. It’s so fun right?!

Hi friends — We’re kicking off the countdown to the Hero Arts May My Monthly Hero kit today and I’m sharing a card using the new kit, focusing on items from the Classic kit!
I wanted to use a lot of the items from this very special Classic Kit, which also kicks off the 50th Anniversary Celebration for Hero Arts! I created a quick background using a lot of different sentiments and then, of course, I needed a birthday staple, CAKE!
I did a bit of no-line watercoloring for my main image and then finished it off with a birthday sentiment. I matted all my pieces for a bit of contrast that really makes everything pop!
Head over to the Hero Arts blog for more inspiration using the May My Monthly Hero kit leading up to the release! And then I’ll be back for the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit blog hop with a couple more projects to share!
Ever color up an image and then cut it in half? It’s a little scary BUT I think it’s a great way to stretch your stamps and change up the look of things. I did this here to create a fun border on both edges and It looks so pretty. What do you think? Can you do it?

I love an easy card, especially an easy birthday card since it’s my most used category. I love the daintiness of this one because it has some simple stamping with pattern paper and a bold die cut to pull it all together.

Summer skies — I love the color combinations and I tend to be inspired by the cotton candy skies. You just never know what you’ll get and that’s awesome. This is a simple card with stamping and coloring, but also keeping my images and colors on top of the card panel.

I kinda love when you have an image that you can use to fill out the card panel? I did that here by stamping it twice. One, I colored and one, I didn’t. This came together quickly and it doesn’t leave too much white space, which it’s really my card style anyway.

One of my favorite things to do is ink blend, stamp, and then color up a background with a black marker. It makes for a pretty easy card and mindless coloring. The major up side is that you end up with a really pretty and colorful card.

I’m not a huge fan of rubber stamps, mainly because they take up a lot of space and I just don’t have it BUT lately, the last couple Honey Bee Stamps releases have them and I ADORE them. This was such an easy birthday card to put together — a card that can be easily mass produced!
