Hi everyone! Welcome to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Trinity Stamps Collaboration today! I think we all can guess what the theme of today’s blog hop is…. COFFEE!

Today, I’m using the Frappy Camper’s Perking Spot stamp set, which is an exclusive collaboration set, along with the Layered Birch stencil set. This is an adorable set that reminds me of getting up on the weekend and heading to the Marina to the Philz truck (can you guess which city I live in?).

The idea behind this card was the fact that the coordinating dies actually cut out the coffee window. Lately, I haven’t been able to spend too much time with creating interactive cards but I just HAD to with this one.

Hi everyone! So awhile back, I discovered Not 2 Shabby because of her Unicorn sets, Unicorn Dreamland and Unicorn Magic. They are super cute sets so I’m not surprised when Jamie released her holiday sets, which I’ll be featuring over the next few months.

To start, I’m using the fall set, Happy Fall, and my timing couldn’t be perfect because today is the first day of fall! This set is super cute and packed with all these fall items, but I fell in love with that scarecrow so I wanted to use him as a focal point for my card.

I also really love the leaf in this set and wanted to incorporate it. I stamp this leaf repeatedly to create a border on the top and bottom of the card. While coloring this portion in, I went with autumn colors.

I stamped out the scarecrow and added the little pumpkin on a separate piece of cardstock. When I finished, I trimmed it down so it would leave the leaves peeking and also mounted it on some foam tape to give it dimension. For the sentiment, I used Scarecrow Kisses and Fall Wishes.

So…. I might be biased because I love fall but there’s a TON of super cute items for this release. If you saw my sneak peek card from yesterday over at the Trinity blog, I used Autumn Forest Friends to create an autumn scene. I also snuck in a mini sneak peek into the Sleepy Hollow stamp set.

For today’s card, I focused on the Sleepy Hollow stamp set. This set is super adorable and is perfect to create a full scene card as well. Although it comes with coordinating dies, I opted to go ahead and mask my entire scene.

When creating a more complicated scene, I’ll always stamp out everything first so I can use it as a template to make sure I stamp everything in the correct order. The things you want to appear in front have to be stamped first.

Since I cut out little masks for everything, I wanted to make the most of my card by creating two instead of just one. I went ahead and stamped everything out at the same time using a stamp positioner, which makes life much easier.

Before I get to coloring all my stamped images, I went in with distress inks to create a background using the new Trinity Stamps Blending Buddy Brushes. These brushes are super soft, have a case, and can stand up on their own. Creating the backgrounds were super easy with them!

For my day scene, I used blues and yellows. For my night scene, I went with purples and blues. I also used the new Birch Tree Stencils, which contain the negative and positive stencils, for the background. It added a bit of depth to the card behind my main scene and I didn’t have to think much about it.

Once I finished my backgrounds, I removed all the masks and colored my main image in with alcohol markers. For the day scene, I kept everything bright and happy. For the night scene, I added an element of the light shining from the lantern. I really enjoyed how these two came together. Although it took extra time to create masks and stamp out my scene properly, I think it was totally worth it! I hope you enjoyed both my cards! Do you have a favorite? Hi everyone! So I know that Day 4 is for Christmas but I actually went outside the box a little and I used a previously featured LDRS Creative die set, Down Main Street Die. I had a vision and I wanted to create it.

For die set, it cuts out this set of buildings and I wanted to use it for a snowy scene. The die comes without the snow but I just easily drew it on the houses. I used alcohol markers to color up the houses. For the yellow lights, I actually ran the die through again using yellow cardstock and I inlaid all the little pieces. It was a bit time consuming but totally worth it!

I created a dark background using some distress inks and added a ton of white ink splatter so it looked like snow. For the sentiment, I grabbed it from the Hydrangeas set. I used the LDRS Watermark ink and heat embossed the “Happy”. For the holidays, I stamped it using Raven ink on white cardstock.

I think this card turned out super cool and hope you enjoyed the out of the box idea for this Christmas card. Thanks for stopping by and remember to hop along for a chance to win!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using LDRS Creative’s stamp set named, Halloween High Jinks Stamps. It’s such a perfect set for October and Halloween (obviously). I loved all the little characters in this set and so I was set out to use them all to create a spooky scene.

Although, I didn’t use every single character, I used a lot of the stamp set itself. I laid out all my stamps to figure out where I wanted them to be and to see if there was any overlap. Once I was happy, I stamped them out using Raven hybrid ink. For all the images, I also stamped and created masks out of the Masking Paper. This was the most tedious part but I think it was totally worth it.

I colored all these little characters in and colored up the background. I think that this is such a cute set for Halloween and it’s so fun!

To finish off this card, I stamped out the sentiment and matted it on black so it could stand out. Your eyes go straight to the scene below so I wanted the sentiment to stand out in some way.

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be guest designing today for Ink On 3 and sharing a project using the brand new stamp set and die set called Knockout Nibbles. Even the name is adorable!

For today’s card, I wanted the focus to be on the champion hamster. I love how his arms are raised in victory. I stamped him out using the Blackout Hybrid Ink. I love how crisp this ink is and I can use it with both watercolors and alcohol markers. (P.S. They don’t leave a black stain on your stamps if you clean them right after, which I know most people don’t mind, but it personally irks me). This is such a cute little hamster and it’s so easy to color him up.

I also use the coordinating Knockout Nibbles dies to help cut this out. The image is also pretty easy to fussy cut as well but for this card, I needed the white outline to allow this image to pop off my darker background.

I love the little embellishments in the set and focused on the small sunburst. I wanted to create a ring of these sunbursts so I decided to use a 4 inch square card panel. Using the Juicy Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink, I stamped a first ring of the sunbursts and then heat embossed using gold embossing powder. Then I decided to stamp the interior of the ring and used a satin white embossing powder.

My card is basically complete once I put everything together. I chose the sentiment “You’re A Champ”, stamping the words out using the Blackout Hybrid Ink on white cardstock and trimmed it down. For my card panel, I used a I added the cute little hamster right in the middle.

I’m using a 4.25 x 4.25 square card base for this card. Since my background panel is 4 x 4, it leaves a nice white border around the entire card and really ties in the die cut image along with the sentiment.

I hope you’ve been enjoying this project using the new stamp and die set along with use of the popular inks from Ink On 3. I hope you get inspired to create!

Hi everyone! I’m here to share a sneak peek for Penguin Palace’s new release with the awesome stamp set named, Let’s Get Crafty. If you love crafty and artsy stamp sets, this is perfect for you! This is releasing March 20.

I love the main image in this set and wanted to focus on that today. Since this set revolves around being crafty and color, I definitely wanted to include rainbow colors in this. This crafter’s main tool is a paint brush and I wanted the colors to come out it! For this card, I stamped and fussy cut this image out since I am using watercolor, I didn’t want to have to mask off the image.

For this card panel, I used Tombow markers to create this rainbow by drawing lines of color. To blend this out, I used a waterbrush. Of course, it won’t blend perfectly but art and creativity is not meant to be perfect.

I really like how this card turned out and I’m loving how the rainbow colors pop and really pull this card together. I also created a video so you can check out the full process from start to finish. Check it out!

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out Day 3 of the blog hop for LDRS Creative. I’m sharing a card using one of the sets showcased at Creativation, Hippo Hooray. Similar to Day 1, this set has an interactive image that moves with a brad.

For today’s card, I used a variety of the images. I stamped them out using Raven ink, colored them with alcohol markers, and fussy cut them out. This set doesn’t come with coordinating die because of the nature of the interactive element… It would look odd with the white border a die leaves.

I wanted to create a simple scene for this since I’m using a few images. I just drew in the stage area and used Stamping Mask paper so I could use distress inks to color it quickly. For the stands, I drew in a simple pattern mirroring the stand the little bird is standing on. I also stamped the little star that is in the set to give it a little more decoration.

After the background is colored in, I play with the images deciding where they should go. I want to fit everyone in so I add the dancing hippo to a tightrope.

For the hippo, I trim off the left arm and right leg replacing it with the full arm/leg image included in the set. I picked out a blue flower brad so it looks like she’s wearing a little belt with a flower buckle.

To finish off this card, I stamped the Hip Hippo Hooray sentiment in the middle of the card. Additionally, I trimmed the card panel by a quarter of an inch so it would have a white border around the panel.
