Ever wonder why Ink on 3 stamp sets have the same image but reverse/smaller? I love them for scene cards because sometimes when you create a scene card sizing is important.

Stencils are great — they cover an entire background and it’s so easy. The best thing about them is that they are versatile and you don’t have to use them as intended. For this card, I decided to do partial blending to really let you focus on my image in the middle.

Ever do no line coloring? It used to be so intimidating but I kept at it and now I love it. It gives your images a soft look. I also combined it with stamping with a bit of ink blending on kraft cardstock for this fun coffee card!

Don’t you love when there is a new release and then it’ll go perfectly with an older set. It’s 100% what I thought immediately when I saw this squirrel peeking out — it looked like he’s above in a tree looking down at a pumpkin patch! Definitely a lot of coloring but totally worth it!

Before making this card, I made another one because I wanted to add all three of the squirrels from the Squirreling Around stamp set but I’m not sure about it. For this card, I tried a bit of restraint and just went with two. I really wanted the focus on them, so I did some tone on tone stenciling at the bottom of the card to let them shine.
This is one of my favorite hot foil dies for the holiday season and beyond because I think it’ll be pretty versatile. I thought it would be the star of the show, but honestly, I think the Polar Party image stole the spotlight. I no line colored it up with copic markers and die cut it out with the coordinating die because there was no way I would fussy cut this out. I don’t always love that outline around a die cut, so I just used my go to trick to hide it!
I love ink blending but my favorite inks to use for any type of rainbow colors or bright assortment are the Ink on 3 Atelier inks. They are bold and bright and pack a punch. I went in heavier with my layers for this peach to give the entire look a pop art vibe. What do you think?
I’m in love with this new Atelier Ink color in Pitch Black — it’s so freaking dark and I love it. I used it to ink blend over this embossed stencil I created. Plus I went back to the old favorite, Fadeout Ink for no line coloring.

Hi all – I think it’s fair to say that these koi fish are one of my most favorite images to no-line watercolor. It looks like hard, but it really isn’t!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Valentine Penguins. Yes, it’s January but I didn’t intend to make a valentine’s card at all. I actually don’t like the commercial aspect behind the holiday and firmly believe that you should always show people you care about them year round.
For this card, I’m using some atelier inks to do ink blending. They blend so smoothly and I wanted a non-traditional colored sky (mainly because one of my goals for the year is to go outside my comfort zone). I used Bee Sting Yellow, Sweet Petunia Pink and Peacock Blue with a splatter of water and Perfect Pearls all over. Also, I wanted to add an element of the sky, so I used the clouds border die, cutting pieces of white cardstock and vellum to give it a bit of interest.
I colored up the two penguins with copic markers and fussy cut them out. I tend to really like the no white outline look but you definitely can use the dies or cut with an outline too. They are pretty simple images to cut (one of the reasons why I love to mask and fussy cut with Gerda Steiner sets).
The card came together really nicely and I am so happy with how it turned out since, it’s not specifically a valentine’s day card but a card to tell someone they are loved.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
Hey everyone! Today, I’m creating a really simple card, mainly because I didn’t feel like coloring but wanted to use some images. The technique I fall back on is just heat embossing and then inking up the entire image in one color. Check it out in the video below!
