Fall Frameless Shaker

Hi everyone! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring two stamps sets from Not 2 Shabby’s Fall Release. Fall is my favorite time of year and I don’t mind getting a head start on cards to celebrate!

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I used the three little leaves from the You Me and Pumpkin Spice stamp set with Fadeout Ink and covered up an entire card panel. Originally, I wanted to create a subtle background pattern but I changed gears at the end. I used Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks in Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, and Twiggy Brown to ink up the entire card panel. I used water along with the gold and red from the Finetec Watercolors to create splatter all over. I ended up using Marilyn Red, Twiggy Brown, and Goddess Green to stamp over the leaves for a more visible pattern.

There’s two larger images in the Pumpkin Spice Everything, and I chose the one that was easier to no-line color. I used a variety of fall colors from my Copic collection (colors listed below) and I love how pretty it turned out. I also went ahead and fussy cut it once I was done.

I create an acetate Using vellum, I stamped the sentiment using Juicy ink and Arctic White embossing powder. For the frameless shaker part assembly, be sure to check out the video.

Welcome to the weekend crafty friends! Today, I’m super excited to share a card featuring a few Ink Blot Shop stamp sets and EZ Lights. I had so much fun with my first card using EZ Lights that I had to create another one!

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped images from the Ink Blot Shop’s Little Something and Skyline Borders stamp sets using Blackout ink with some masking paper to create a fun scene. I used Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks to blend up a colorful background (My Jam Purple, Peacock Blue, Goddess Green, Bee Sting Yellow) and then I colored them up the rest using copic markers (colors listed below). I added the sentiment and the interactive “Push Here” (from Lawn Fawn) by stamping on white cardstock using Blackout ink.

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m participating in a Not 2 Shabby video hop and I’m sharing a card created using all four stamp sets from Not 2 Shabby’s Fall release.

I stamped images and masked images from Not 2 Shabby’s fall release named Pumpkin Spice Everything, You Me Pumpkin Spice, Critter Costume Party, and Fall Gnomes using Blackout Ink. For the background, I used Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks in My Jam Purple, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Twiggy Brown and Paint it Black. Then I removed the masks and I colored them up using copic markers. I added the sentiment by using Versamark ink and heat embossed it using White embossing powder.

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring stamp set named, Everything Wonderful from Honey Bee Stamps. I was feeling in a bit of a slump. When I’m feeling no mojo, I’ll just stamp out a large image and just spend my time coloring mindlessly… it usually does the trick!

I stamped images from Honey Bee Stamps Everything Wonderful stamp set using Ink on 3’s Blackout ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers (colors listed below). For the background, I used Honey Bee Stamps Watercolor Line Cover die and placed it on top of a piece of grey cardstock. I added the sentiment by stamping it with Juicy ink on top of black cardstock and used Artic White Embossing powder. To finish off the card, I sprinkled a bunch of black embellishments around the florals and sentiment.

TRS Sketch Challenge & Christmas

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today participating in Three Room Studio’s monthly sketch challenge. Every month, in their Facebook group, they have a sketch and it helps me go outside the box.

I’ve been starting my holiday cards early to use up a bunch of my sets that I never get around to using… if you’re interested, my first card for Christmas can be found here. Today, I’m using this sketch for another holiday card.

I stamped images from the Skate Sleep Repeat stamp set using Blackout ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers for the image and skating rink. For the background, I used distress inks to create a nighttime effect. I added the sentiment with Blackout ink to finish it off.

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m sharing a card and video featuring a bunch of The Sassy Club stamp sets for a fun slider card.

I stamped images a ton of images, using Blackout Ink, from a variety of stamp sets: Fruit Time, Game Play, and Animal Land to create an Animal Crossing filled card. I colored them up using copic markers and fashioned a slider card for this fun birthday card! For the sentiment, this Sentimental set was perfect and fit right in the Fruit Time sign.

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing three cards featuring Trinity Stamps’ stamp set named, Blooming Bunch.

For all the cards, I used Trinity Stamps’ A2 Foundation -Rectangle stencil to help mask off areas for my ink blending. I used various sentiments from A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything.

Light Up Christmas Card

Hi everyone! Today, I’m super excited to be a guest designer for Pear Blossom Press and sharing a card featuring their EZ Light with a couple Gerda Steiner Design stamp sets.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped and masked images from Gerda Steiner’s Reindeer and a Tree using Ink on 3’s blackout ink to create a Christmas scene card. For the background, I colored it up using a bunch of distress inks: Shaded Lilac, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord and Black Soot. Then I colored them up using copic markers.

Since one EZ Light includes 3 lights, they light up three parts of the card: Rudolph’s red nose, an ornament, and the star that goes on top of the tree. I used vellum and colored the pieces using copic markers so the lights would project different colors.

For the light itself, you just need to pop in the battery into the unit. The unit has three wires that lead to three lights. I just used scotch tape to ensure the lights were in the exact spot for Rudolph’s red nose, an ornament, and the star. For the unit itself, I used double sided adhesive to attach to my card base. It was so easy to do!

Happy Opening Day!!! I’m so excited that baseball is back. I definitely am unsure if the season will make it to the end, but nonetheless, some celebration is warranted. Today, I’m sharing a card featuring Waffle Flower’s Batter Up in a Floating Floor Pop Up card.

I stamped images from the Waffle Flower’s Batter up stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I created a scene using distress inks to create a baseball field and colored in all the images using copic markers. I just had to create a little infield that fit into this 5×7 card within a floating floor pop up card. To finish this off, I used a ton of the sentiments in this set. Isn’t it so cute?

Hot Mess Lady

Hi everyone! I’ve been eyeing Essential by Ellen’s Leading Ladies stamp sets for years almost but I never pulled the trigger to buy them because I didn’t know which ones to choose. I finally picked out a few and I’m using Hot Mess Lady for today’s cards.

I stamped images from the Hot Mess Lady stamp set using Fadeout Ink. Then I colored them up using a variety of copic markers. I really just wanted to sit down and color to de-stress. For me, no line coloring is a lot of fun and always a challenge — it helps me clear my mind. Once I finish coloring my items, I ended up fussy cutting the images.

For both cards, I’m using Honey Bee Stamps’ A2 Thin Frames to help frame my little scenes.

CARD 1:
I used the Honey Bee Stamps’ A2 Thin Frames by tilting two of them to frame in the Hot Mess Lady. For the edges of this card panel, I used Salty Ocean distress ink to add some color for interest. I also colored up a table for all her items.

CARD 2:
This one pretty much sums up all my plans I had for the year. I’m a planner so I had all these trips planned out and well, life happens. I added 2020 to the calendar. I also needed a trash can for one of my card ideas, so I stamped the one in Gerda Steiner’s Sneaky Raccoons set and only colored the portion I needed. With Fadeout Ink, I don’t need to mask since the ink is so light anyway, which is also what I did with the calendar. For the sentiment, I used Ink Road’s The One with All the Stamps. Anyone know which Friends’ episode this quote is from? I thought it was perfect.

Metallic Rainbows

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the rainbow stencil from Erin Lee Creative’s Rainbow Kit.

I wanted the focus to be on the Rainbow stencil so I sprayed Pixie Spray so I could use watercolors with it. Once I did that, I adhered it to a piece of Black Mixed Media paper and colored the Rainbow stencil using Altenew’s Metallic Watercolors. For the sentiments, I used Trinity Stamps’ Marshmallow Alpha along with Three Room Studio’s Simple Sentiments.

Retail Therapy – TRS Color Challenge

Welcome to the weekend crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that plays along with the monthly color challenge over on Three Room Studios’ facebook group.

This card features Three Room Studio’s stamp set named, Retail Therapy. I stamped images using Ink on 3’s Blackout Ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers. I knew I wanted to create a rainbow to incorporate the color palette and used Ink on 3’s Atelier Inks by adding them in rainbow colors. I added the sentiment by directly stamping on the card panel and also heat embossing with white embossing powder on the black strip on the bottom of the card.
