Sweater Card | Ink Blot Shop

This cable knit background is the perfect stamp for a faux sweater card. To be honest, I struggled a bit because the pattern is pretty subtle, you couldn’t tell really. To really kick it up a notch, I added pencils into the pockets. I really think that was the finishing touch.

When I saw these hearts, I kinda thought about how I used to draw hearts in a border with a single line. Right side up, upside down, right side up — repeat. I took a page out of my grade school doodles and created a background design out of these crafty hearts and colored them up in rainbow colors.

Ink blending the look of light is actually really easy. Check it out in the short video below. All you need is a bright color and then ink blend all around it. Nighttime skies also are really easy to create as long as you add that splatter at the end. It really brings it all together.
