This new stamp set is kinda fun because you can pick a pre-set mini scene or you can create your own little one! I decided to focus on the pot and kitty, masking and stamping them several times. This was an easy scene card and super fun to color up.

If you know, one of my first card loves were scene cards and I loved using sets to really stretch my stamps. When I saw this release from Honey Bee Stamps, I knew I had to to pair a bunch of these sets together for a scene card. It came out perfectly (in my opinion!).

I love to do a bit of focused ink blending and I end up sticking with a corner and moving outward. I love the pop of white space. I also love to pair ink blending with a singular, masked image. It really just makes it pop doesn’t it?

Did you know I love capybaras? They are so adorably cute! I love them. I couldn’t resist using as many as possible in this little scene card and whenever I do some masking, ink blending goes hand in hand. Loving this little scene!

I really wanted to do something fun since Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating 10 years! It was a cause for celebration and why not use all the colors! I did a ton of stamping, masking, ink blending and coloring and I just adore how this card turned out.
Here is my coordinating YouTube video if you want to see how I created this card!

Two of my favorite techniques are used on this card: Ink blending + Masking! Sometimes stamps just don’t come with coordinating dies and masking is my trick to being able to pair it with ink blending. Although my background is bold, I still think these elephants pop!

We’re never constricted to just one stamp set — you can use as many as you want and the Ink Blot Shop sets work super well together. I pulled out a total of four of them to pull this scene card together.

I’m pretty sure that if you follow me, you know I love one layer scene cards. They aren’t for everyone because fussy cutting is either something you love or hate. For me, I don’t mind it and I find it really relaxing to do. However, Whimsy Stamps now has coordinating no fuss instant masks that skip the step of fussy cutting completely! You can use them to easy create your on layer scene cards plus you still get the satisfaction of the reveal! Check out the scene I created using them for almost every single image in this stamp set.

Sometimes you have to be a bit strategic. Don’t get me wrong, I love to mask to create fun scene cards, but sometimes I don’t want to cut. Here, I placed my crafty hearts in the card panel space without needed to mask too much of my image.

I’m not a plant girl but I know seed packets are always fun to peruse when I see them. This set was perfect to make into little packets just by adding a rectangle around it! Add a little bit of masking and you got a full card panel card of them!

This stamp set is perfect for setting up an easy scene card. The images are also pretty easy to fussy cut around — that usually plays a factor in whether I’ll mask for a scene or not. Add a bit of ink blending and you have minimal coloring needed.

My favorite type of card is putting together a scene with masking and ink blending. I think you know that if you follow me and this card is even better because it involves coffee. This card resonates with me — I’m a morning person and I adore that moment of peace in the morning — Taking a deep breath in before that first morning sip of coffee, I release any bad vibes from the day before and I just know the day will be all right.
