You’re My Jam

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the My Favorite Things’ stamp set named, You’re My Jam. 

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible. 

I stamped images from the You’re My Jam stamp set from My Favorite Things stamp set using Gina K Obsidian Black ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers (all colors listed down below).

For the background, I used Gina K Masking Magic to mask off the bottom of the slimline card so I could ink blend a background. I used Distress Oxide inks in the colors: Picked Raspberry, Spice Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, and Mermaid Lagoon. I created a wavy rainbow design for fun and added some water as well as Perfect Pearl splatter. For the bottom portion of the card, I decided to stamp out the musical notes to create a musical road. I added the sentiment by stamping with Versamark ink and heat embossing with Gina K Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.

3 Easy Die Cut Designs

Hi everyone! Ok, I’ve been really bad with keeping up with doing blog posts but I’m trying to get back into it.

Today, I’m really excited to be a guest designer for i-crafter today. I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to share my creations with you! For today’s blog post, I actually ended up creating three different cards showing off three different designs using the dies from the Box Pops, Flower Add On set. The possibilities are really endless!

For my first card, I used the leafy die, which was so perfect for a simple frame design. I quickly used watercolors for the background and added some splatter. While die cutting the leafy die, I also took the interior bits and ink blended them with similar colors and did some die inlay. 

To finish off this card, I used the “hello” sentiment from the Hello Flower die set in black. The leafy die cuts really make that sentiment pop! 

For my second card, I thought I would use this really pretty, intricate floral die to create a circular design. Once I die cut 8 of these florals, I inked them up quickly. For the sentiment, I used the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Wiper Insert and inked them up using the same colors for the florals while creating an ombre effect. 

To really have the florals pop, I put them up on kraft cardstock and thought they colors went so well together. The coordinating sentiment really tied together the entire card. 

For my third card, I decided to use a slimline design and again only used one die for this particular card. 

I took some watercolors and quickly created a rainbow background and placed each die cut in each color section. 

This is one of those designs that can be quickly created for a simple and elegant card. To finish off this card, I used the smaller hello in the Flip Card Dashed Circle die set and actually used a gold pen to give it a bit of elegance. 

I really loved how all these cards turned and hopefully, these examples gave you some ideas for the endless possibilities of this Box Pops, Flower Add On die set.

Woodland Littles Scene Card

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring stamp set named, Woodland Littles from Hello Bluebird. It’s such a cute stamp set and perfect for fall.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped images from the Hello Bluebird using Ink on 3’s Fadeout Ink. I normally like to color up sets for my monthly divider on instagram and I end up with a lot of images to use for cards. Then I no-line colored them up using copic markers. For the background, I used blended Fired Brick, Crackling Campfire, Wild Honey along with Ink on 3’s Twiggy Brown. I stamped the sentiment directly on the card panel.

My favorite part of this card is actually the empty trees that I drew in using a copic friendly pen. I love how it added to the scene and adore that the owl sits right on the branches.

Sending Hugs

Happy mid-week everyone! For today’s card, I’m sharing a card featuring Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Sending Hugs along with Ink on 3’s Leafy stencil.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped bunny and squirrel image from the Gerda Steiner Design’s Sending Hugs stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers. For the background, I used Ink on 3’s Juicy Ink to ink up the Leafy Forest stencil. I might have put too much Juicy ink because I ended up with a distressed look once I added Chrome Embossing Powder.

This card panel was light blue cardstock but I wanted to add a bit more color, so I used Ink on 3’s Atelier Ink named Peacock Blue to blend on the edges and really loved how it turned out. I placed the images on a sheet of vellum that I die cut using Honey Bee Stamps’ Deckle Edge A2 dies. I added the sentiment by stamped using Juicy Ink and heat embossed the sentiment using Artic white embossing powder.

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m participating in a Not 2 Shabby video hop and I’m sharing a card created using all four stamp sets from Not 2 Shabby’s Fall release.

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing three cards featuring Trinity Stamps’ stamp set named, Blooming Bunch.

For all the cards, I used Trinity Stamps’ A2 Foundation -Rectangle stencil to help mask off areas for my ink blending. I used various sentiments from A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything.

Ink Blended Card Set – Little Fairies

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m sharing a bunch of cards featuring The Greeting Farm’s Little Fairies.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I colored up these images from the Greeting Farm’s Little Fairies awhile ago using Ink on 3’s Fadeout Ink and colored them using color markers. I also fussy cut them out. Originally, I thought I’d put them onto the same card, but because of their different hair colors, I thought it would work well as a card set. For all these cards, I used Trinity Stamps A2 Rectangles and A2 Circle stencils to help me mask off an area for ink blending.

CARD 1:

Ink Blended Background: Marilyn Red, Marigold Orange, Bee Sting Yellow, Goddess Green

Ink Blended Background: Mermaid Lagoon, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberries, Wilted Violet

Rainbows!

Hi crafty friends! My name is Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) and I’m back to share another card as a guest designer today. Today’s post focuses on one of Erin Lee Creative stamp sets named, Koko Girl Couch, that can also be found in their sale section along with its coordinating die, so now is definitely the time to pick it up. Also, I am using one of her Rainbow stencils found in the Somewhere kit. 

I’ve seen a lot of simple cards using the Rainbows from the Somewhere kit so I wanted to share a new way to incorporate it into a card. Rainbows are so fun to see when you look out a window. Since we’ve been staying inside more so than ever, I decided it would be perfect to use Koko Girl Couch with a rainbow outside her window. 

For the window, I masked off the top right hand corner of this card panel and added each color one by one using distress inks. I did have to mask off each portion of the rainbow but with some masking tape, it was very quick to do. 

I created a quick scene using a couple lines for the window and floor. I actually colored the Koko Girl Couch on a seperate piece of paper using no-line coloring and fussy cut her out. I have the coordinating die but I thought it would be prettier without the white outline. Once my scene was set, I just added her on there next to the window. I also used the sentiment from the Koko Girl Couch set. You’ll notice that I split the sentiment into two lines by masking to make it fit at the bottom right of the card.
