Shaker Card with Real Coffee Beans!

Welcome to the weekend crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring stamp set named, ___.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped one of the images from the Erin Lee Creative Coffee Love kit using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers (listed down below). For the background, on a piece of cream cardstock, I used Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy to add ink to the edges and stamped the image “Coffee Lover” using the same Brushed Corduroy color. Using the stencil from the Coffee Lover kit, I added the coffee stains using Brushed Corduroy. I added the sentiment by mixing and matching the sentiments from WPlus9 That is all and the Erin Lee Creative Coffee Lover stamp set.

Using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Frames, I created a shaker case and popped it up on two layers of foam so I could fit real coffee beans in the card. Once I added the beans, I closed it up and if you could only smell this card! Any coffee lover would adore it!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Change the World

Hi everyone! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring some of the images from stamp set in Erin Lee Creative’s Coffee Lover kit along with the Barn Wood Planks die cut to create a background from Honey Bee Stamps.

I stamped aerial view of a girl drinking coffee from the Coffee Lover stamp set using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Then I colored them up using copic markers. For the background, I used the Barn Wood Planks die. I wanted to arrange them so it would look like a table she was sitting at. I used Walnut Stain distress ink along with Ground Espresso distress ink to add a bit of dimension to the planks. Once I had everything arranged, I wanted to add the sentiment right on top but because of the embossed texture of the wood, I used Versafine ink to get the clearest image possible.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Coffee Lover Kit Blog Hop

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m excited to join in on the Erin Lee Creative blog hop, to share a card using the latest kit called the Coffee Lover Kit. It’s an adorable set for any coffee lover and it’s such a versatile one. PLUS, it’s on sale!

PRIZES: 2 lucky commenters will win the Coffee Lovers Kit. Winners will be announced on the ELC blog Monday, December 14. Comment on everyone’s blog or IG for a greater chance to win!

Today, I focused using one of the add on dies called Coffee Cup. It’s such a simple die but can be such a fun one as I used it for a bright and colorful, rainbow card.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I barely did any stamping for this card, only for the sentiment! I die cut five different cups for this card. I used kraft cardstock and brown cardstock for the top portion of this Cup Heart Die. Then I went ahead and die cut the coffee cups using white cardstock so I could customize with colors I wanted, using Ink on 3’s Atelier inks: Trinity Teal, My Jam Purple, Goddess Green, Sweet Petunia Pink and Peacock Blue. I used Twiggy Brown for the table and then Bee Sting Yellow for the background.

By staggering all the coffee cups, I was able to squeeze in five of these cute cups. I stamped the sentiment using Blackout ink and popped it above the coffee cups.

Check out all the fabulous projects in the blog hop below. Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win!

Winter Florals | Erin Lee Creative

Happy Friday-eve! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring Erin Lee Creative’s stamp set named, Winter Florals. This stamp set was from her October release, which I absolutely loved. I just adore this set down to all the little details.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I stamped one of the images twice from the Winter Florals stamp set using Ink on 3’s Fadeout ink creating a nice long floral arrangement. I love this ink for no line coloring, but when there’s a stamp set with a LOT of details like this one, that’s when I get excited now! Watercoloring isn’t a normal thing for me but Fadeout ink makes it super easy to do. The ink picks up the colors you place on top of it, so if you look closely you can see all the little details.

Using Ink on 3’s Atelier re-inkers as watercolors, I placed the color on top and Fadeout ink picked up the details without needing me to blend or shade. It’s so easy! After coloring, I used silver glitter cardstock on one side of the florals transforming it into a border.

I stamped out the sentiment and fussy cut around it so I could stack them. I also pulled some Trinity Stamps embellishments to decorate the card to finish them off.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Erin Lee Creative New Release

Hi everyone! I’m really excited today because I’m guest designing for Erin Lee Creative in celebration of the new release. I adore this stamp company for her quirky, unique stamp sets and stencils. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share my creation among this blog hop.

The blog hop will end on October 24, 2020. 2 lucky commenters will win a $50 gift code to use in the ELC shop. Winners will be announced on the Monday, October 26 blog post. Comment on everyone’s blog or IG for a greater chance to win! The lineup can be found at the bottom of the post.

All items to the new release can be found here: www.erinleecreative.com/collections/newest-releases

Today, I’m using the newly released stamp set called Grl Pwr. I love the powerful messages in this set and really wanted to showcase this.

I stamped out the main image and colored it in with the no line coloring technique. I also decided to fussy cut the image… mainly because one of my copics decided it to splat over my image and this was the best way to save it without starting over. There are coordinating dies for this set.

I decided to create a little scene where the girls were sitting on a cobblestone wall overlooking a view. I masked off the bottom of the card and used distress ink to add a strip of grey. I added distress ink to the rest of the bottom panel of the card. Using one of the layers from the Camo Layering Stencil set (which by the way is on sale with an additional 30% off at checkout – no code required), I add dimension to the wall.

For the sky, I decided that I could use the Camo Layering Stencil set again to add clouds to the background. I just picked larger opening and added distress ink to the bottom of the open areas in the stencil. How cool is that?

I really love how this card came out and think it’s such a great set that reminds that Women Support Women. There are some amazing sets in this new release and definitely check out the rest of the blog hop for inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!

Metallic Rainbows

Hi crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the rainbow stencil from Erin Lee Creative’s Rainbow Kit.

All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

I wanted the focus to be on the Rainbow stencil so I sprayed Pixie Spray so I could use watercolors with it. Once I did that, I adhered it to a piece of Black Mixed Media paper and colored the Rainbow stencil using Altenew’s Metallic Watercolors. For the sentiments, I used Trinity Stamps’ Marshmallow Alpha along with Three Room Studio’s Simple Sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you got some inspiration to create! Happy Crafting!

Rainbows!

Hi crafty friends! My name is Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) and I’m back to share another card as a guest designer today. Today’s post focuses on one of Erin Lee Creative stamp sets named, Koko Girl Couch, that can also be found in their sale section along with its coordinating die, so now is definitely the time to pick it up. Also, I am using one of her Rainbow stencils found in the Somewhere kit

I’ve seen a lot of simple cards using the Rainbows from the Somewhere kit so I wanted to share a new way to incorporate it into a card. Rainbows are so fun to see when you look out a window. Since we’ve been staying inside more so than ever, I decided it would be perfect to use Koko Girl Couch with a rainbow outside her window.

For the window, I masked off the top right hand corner of this card panel and added each color one by one using distress inks. I did have to mask off each portion of the rainbow but with some masking tape, it was very quick to do.

I created a quick scene using a couple lines for the window and floor. I actually colored the Koko Girl Couch on a seperate piece of paper using no-line coloring and fussy cut her out. I have the coordinating die but I thought it would be prettier without the white outline. Once my scene was set, I just added her on there next to the window. I also used the sentiment from the Koko Girl Couch set. You’ll notice that I split the sentiment into two lines by masking to make it fit at the bottom right of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Superhero Scrubs

Hi crafty friends! My name is Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) and I’m so excited to be guest designing for Erin Lee Creative today. Today’s post focuses on one of her newest sets, Superhero Scrubs,  that is on sale AND a portion of the proceeds go to benefit local Covid-19 relief efforts. Not to mention the fact that they are adorable!

My cards for today are very simple to put together. I stamped these two main images out right away using Ink on 3’s Fadeout Ink and they looked perfect for some no line coloring. I colored both images with similar colors because I wanted to create a two card set. Of course, if you wanted to mass produce these images for essential workers, you could by doing simple coloring but for me, no line coloring is really relaxing.

On both of my card panels, I masked off a line across the card and used dark gray and black distress ink to create a ground for the images. I also trimmed both A2 card panels down a quarter of an inch so it’s 4in x 5.25in so I can mat it on a piece of red cardstock. Since I have a hint of red in both images, it really ties the cards together.

The Superhero Scrubs includes so many fun sentiments that are perfect for creating a card that all you need is the image paired with one of them and that’s what I did here. For the male nurse, I placed him next to the “The Best Superheros Wear Scrubs”. For the female nurse, I used two sentiments: “Hero” and “Thank You”.

To finish off the card, I added a few embellishments just to fill up the white space and I couldn’t help it! I really love how these turned out and I hope you do too.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
