Gotta remember my white pigment ink more often — you can use it for stamping, and like here, for creating the look of smoke from a rocket’s blast off. It’s an easy thing to add to amp up your card!

Sympathy cards are hard to make — so sometimes, it’s best to keep it simple.

9 Sheets of Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″ (Rainforest, Blue Spruce, Waterfall, Seaside, Cascade, Mulberry, Dahlia, Carrot, Beeswax)
There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup can be found on the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from Charlene Madrid‘s blog and your next stop will be Jennifer Kotas. The full blog list will also be updated below!
The first card focuses on the May Card Kit of the Month. I kinda loved the floral stencil in this kit and wanted to use it. I used it with a variety of colors, seriously. Check out this list: Grape Juice, Orchid, Azalea, Forever Green, Fresh Lawn, Cotton Candy, and Summer Sky. I do love how this came out because I always go for an ombre color for stenciling but sometimes it doesn’t really show up but it does here. For the vase, I decided to use Contour ink because I thought black would be too harsh. I also used some stamps from the Card Kit, with Intens-ified Black Ink for the embellishments on the corner of my card panel to create a frame. It’s lovely how this card turned out!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

One of my favorite things to stretch your supplies is to mix and match and when, it’s unexpected, it’s even better. I used the Vintage Flora stamp as a subtle background to create a sky and grass background. Of course, I did have to do a bit of mix and matching with the sets to create a really sweet scene.

Gotta love a die set that mimics real life. I was able to pull out some tissue paper and added it to this card.

Who remembers this show? It was one of my favorite childhood cartoons in the afternoon and I do remember it fondly… Adding lights to this card just amps it up!

I’ve used this die cut before and it covers an entire A2 card panel but what if it didn’t? The best part of making cards is that it’s paper — you can cut it! Let’s use a partial part of it to create this card… which allows you to focus on the sentiment without a busy background.

There’s a bunch of die cuts in this set, but sometimes I like to focus on one item. This was an easy egg die cut, where there’s a bunch of patterns and I just decided to use all the colors at my disposal to create a colorful card.

I forget how much I love how bright the Atelier Inks from Ink on 3 are, I used three colors and they are so bright and colorful. The ink colors steal the show, but then add a bit of simple stamping, and the card is a easy one to create.

Can’t help but using a bit of ink blending to really make this pill bottle stand out. Add a face to any inanimate object and it becomes super cute, don’t you think?

Die cut builders are pretty cool because you can build something using scraps or white cardstock. You can use whatever colors you like but if you know me, I tend to stick with the typical colors and I tend to use white cardstock to color up to my preference. But regardless of how you want to use the die cuts, you can easily create an easy scene card.

This stamp set is a pretty cool one. Honey Bee has one featuring dogs and cats so you can pick which you love more but the best part of both of these sets is that you can create your own little scene so you can create unique cards using the standalone images.
