I’m so excited to post my first design team card for Pink & Main. I adore their stamps and I love this July release so much!
The first set I played with was Catitude. If you love cats, you’ll adore this set. I love the variety of cats within this set and I wanted to use them all. I almost did!
I decided to use four of them. Three repeated twice and one was a very subtle one in the middle of my card. I also to add some action to this so I created a simple spinning card. I have a similar card with a video tutorial here.
On a piece of 5.5 x 5.5 paper from the Shades of Spring paper pack, I stamped out three kitties on top of a circle and repeated it on the mirror side. I’ll fussy cut out these images adding a circle to connect them all. I decided to make things super simple and used a piece from the Shades of Spring paper pack as my background. For the middle part, I stamped one of the images using a lighter grey ink and added the sentiment in black. The technical details can be seen in the video, but the idea is that the kitties will be spinning around in a circle. It’s sooooo adorable.
Hope you enjoyed today’s card and hope you’ll be back for more of my projects.
When I first saw this Sunny Studio stamp set, my mind raced back to the pop up spinner card I did awhile back and I really wanted to redo that card using this set. It’s more or less the same card, but this time, I have a video for it to help anyone recreate the same card.
There’s quite a few steps to this card because I wanted to use three images, but using just one is just fine as well. The techniques involved is reverse stamping, pop up, and a spinner. It’s a three in one for this card! If you watch the video, you get the basic idea behind the card, and hopefully you can make a similar card as well!

Someone close to me is recovering from a surgery and stuck at home resting for about two weeks. She was pretty concerned about the surgery and I wanted to send something to help brighten her day a little.
Ever since I saw the Clearly Besotted Trouble in a Tutu stamp set, I totally fell in love. Not only are those hippos incredibly adorable, they were DANCING?! And with interactive cards being so imaginative, I needed something to make those hippos come to life.
I’ve been meaning to do a pop up card for the longest time and kept contemplating the different dies that all companies have come out with, but I realized they didn’t always fit exactly what i wanted to do and with a craft knife/paper cutter, you can make it work. But making a pop up card wouldn’t necessary do the hippos justice, I literally wanted them to dance.
Here’s what I came up with:
When you open up this card, the hippos SPIN. The spinning element works as with all spinner cards, except you have to place the hippos perfectly so they don’t rub up against the back of the card, or it’ll disturb their spinning. But I’m so glad they are twirling on stage since they are ballerinas. I’m in LOVE. The hippo in the front center (pink tutu) actually pops up as well so it looks like she’s in the air swirling her baton.
You can see the card in action here:
Hope you love it!
