I have two cards to share with you today featuring the Card Kit of the Month and the Layering Stencil Set of the Month.

The first card focuses on the May Card Kit of the Month. I kinda loved the floral stencil in this kit and wanted to use it. I used it with a variety of colors, seriously. Check out this list: Grape Juice, Orchid, Azalea, Forever Green, Fresh Lawn, Cotton Candy, and Summer Sky. I do love how this came out because I always go for an ombre color for stenciling but sometimes it doesn’t really show up but it does here. For the vase, I decided to use Contour ink because I thought black would be too harsh. I also used some stamps from the Card Kit, with Intens-ified Black Ink for the embellishments on the corner of my card panel to create a frame. It’s lovely how this card turned out!

My second project focuses on the Layering Stencil Set of the Month. I started this one off by using a piece of white cardstock and then a bunch of Core Inks to stencil each layer: Aegean, Moss, Fresh Lawn, Butter Bar, Ultra Pink, Papaya, and Crimson. I was going to stick with this card panel but I decided that I wanted to cut this down, and stencil up a piece of Kiwi cardstock with Fresh Lawn and Aegean for a tone on tone look.
