I love coloring but sometimes, there’s no time, especially with holiday cards — What if you still want some color? I use a super easy technique for coloring here and it just involves some light colored copics and the colorless blender. I love the effect of it. What do you think?

Kraft cardstock is so underrated — it’s so great for holiday cards and give that cozy vibe, which is perfect for winter. I especially love it when it’s paired with distress oxide inks.

Here’s a clean and simple card — something I don’t normally do often. Whenever there are snowmen on my card, it makes it easier to keep it simple because everything is already white and I only need to color up the accessories. I still wanted to incorporate colors so I did it with the accessories and the sentiment.

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to create a colorful holiday card. You can use this cover plate in so many different ways but this is also a quick way to use up your scraps as well.

I generally stick with colors that reflect reality but sometimes, I feel in the mood for color. The fun colors definitely work for decorative pumpkins on this card plus I got to use almost all of the images in this set.

I definitely wanted to use this mummy wrap pattern but I also wanted to use different colors so the cupcake could be the focal point of my card. I cheated a little bit here but who would really know?

I couldn’t resist creating a scene card with these cupcakes to set them onto a table! A ton of masking, ink blending and stenciling pulled this card together — totally worth it for me!

I personally have a ton of stamps, dies and stencils but I don’t always have exactly what I need or want at a moment’s notice. I used these two images from Pretty Pink Posh to accent the corners of my card, but I felt like there wasn’t anything to pull it together so I grabbed a pen to draw borders in. It really grounded the layout and I loved how it brings the focus onto the sentiment. Be creative, use what you have, and you just might end up with the perfect card.

Hi friends! There have been so many amazing projects already shared in the past three days of the blog hop and there’s so much inspiration today as well! Be sure to check it all out and today’s lineup! For today, I’m sharing this pretty holiday card that I put together using some of the new items from Pretty Pink Posh’s October release.
Something about the holidays just makes me pull out my kraft cardstock. The Layered Winter Wreath is just so pretty and works so well for a frame. I choice distress oxide inks for the stenciling because it has that chalky look which is extra pretty on kraft cardstock.
I am also using the Winter Birds stamps and dies for my accents to the wreath. I had a hard time choosing which birds I wanted to use, but I wanted them to look like they were holding onto the sign with the embossed sentiment.
Be sure to stop by the other stops for more inspiration and check back again tomorrow on the Pretty Pink Posh blog for a third day of inspiration!
