Hi friends, today, I’m sharing a card I created using the Sneak Peek Club kit No. 6 from Waffle Flower Crafts. The Sneak Peek Club kit is a monthly subscription that allows you to play with a handful of Waffle Flower products about a month before their official release date.

For today’s card, I used each item in the kit to create this colorful card! I just couldn’t help but use all the items and I’m in love with that Bokeh Trio stencil — it just creates such a pretty background, doesn’t it? I share my process for this card in this video below!

I needed a really simple card and watermark ink is one of those sneaky inks that can be used for multiple things. I could have embossed but I wanted a super subtle pattern and when you ink blend distress oxides over it, it still peeks through — isn’t that cool!?

Stencil 360 with Images | Penguin Palace Stamps

I always want to add color to my cards and whenever I get a chance, I’m going to do it. I wanted a variety of color among these lure dies. Is there a crafty technique that you’ve avoided? For me, it’s been 3D embossing folders — but not anymore! I just never took the time to figure out how they worked and I couldn’t ever remember the sandwich combination for them. I also really like coloring and usually with the folders, you just don’t need to. I had to bring my own flair to it and used rainbow colors to create this pretty simple card! Sometimes a card can just be simple. Once I saw this row of jeans, it was perfect to stamped out to fill up an entire card panel. All I did to enhance it a bit, was add some ink blending around the edges and adding a few lines with a copic marker. But it does make a difference, doesn’t it?
