Hot Foil Ink Blending | Trinity Stamps

I love to hot foil but even more so for holiday cards. The cool part of hot foiling that you can ink blend right over it and it will resist the ink so I went ahead to ink blend some ombre green colors for these trees.

Sometimes you just need an easy Christmas card — today’s card uses this hot foiled sentiment as the focal point. It’s a showstopper and can stand on its own but you can also pair it with some pattern paper for a quick card or here, I ink blending a Christmas rainbow and stamped a background pattern right on top. It was perfect for an easy card!

Coloring on Kraft | Honey Bee Stamps

Have you tried to color on kraft cardstock? If you use alcohol markers, like I did, you can see that the colors are a little muted but it works so well for a holiday card like this one. I also thought there was a bit of too much blank space, so I used an easy trick to add a bit of gold to the card.
