I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and one of the Extraordinary Extras.

The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month. This Card Kit contains a ton of fun pieces that you can make a colorful card. I did a very simple card using the reinkers with water to create a light watercolor background. Then I stamped the images and sentiments for a very simple card.

My second project focuses on the stamp set from the Extraordinary Extras, Floral Rainbow & Clouds. I stamepd and colored the rainbow and used it as a border to use it outside of its ordinary use. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and sentiments and placed it on top of cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

Hero Studio November Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hi crafty friends! Today, we are hopping along to introduce the October 2024 Hero Studio collection from Hero Arts and remember, there’s 6 subscription options: 1) Card Kit of the Month 2) Clear Set + Dies of the Month 3) Fancy Die of the Month 4) Layering Stencil Set of the Month 5) Cling of the Month and 6) Whole Studio (all 5 in one!).

Let’s start by taking a closer look at the November Card Kit of the Month.

<PHOTO OF CARD KIT>

Includes:

  • CK1024D 16 Coordinating Dies & 1 Hole Punch Die
  • 1 Window Die
  • Holiday Treats Words Cling, 6″x 6″

  • Gold Embossing Powder, 1/2 oz.
  • White Embossing Powder, 1/2 oz.
  • Peppermint Embellishments

There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup can be found on the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from _____’s blog and your next stop will be _______. The full blog list will also be updated below!

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and one of the Extraordinary Extras.

The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month. This Card Kit contains a ton of fun pieces. First and foremost, I’m a coffee drinker so I’m automatically drawn to the coffee cup die cut. I die cut that out of white card cardstock and color it up with copic markers. I also used one of the snowflakes in this Card Kit to stamp with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink along with White Embossing Powder directly on the cup for decoration. When you color up die cuts, it looks like no line coloring, so I decided to stamp the owl from the main stamp set with Contour Ink, and did more no line coloring with copic markers. I also wanted some pops of red, so I stamped and colored the berries and poinsettia as well. For my background, I used one of the stencils from the card kit with Crimson Core ink to ink up on Sand Cardstock. I popped the images on Ivory cardstock so they would stand out against that background and I love how the stenciled pattern still stands out. Lastly, I stamped a sentiment on the Ivory Cardstock using Intens-ified Black Ink.

My second project focuses on the stamp set from the Mini and Extraordinary Extras, Winter Foliage Pattern. How this stamp set is set up is that it’s to be paired with the Winter Foliage Pattern Cover plate and it’ll die cut all the images, which is really cool and convenient because you don’t have to line each image up with the die. But I wanted to share a quick and easy card with just the stamp set. I went and did ink swiping with the colors of a Christmas rainbow using the Hero Hues Reactive Glitz inks: French Pink, Spanish Orange, Naples Yellow, and Byzantine Green. Then I just stamp the Winter Foliage Pattern right on top. To finish off the card, I stamped with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed the sentiment using White Embossing Powder on Pitch Black cardstock. I also trimmed down my panel so I could mat it with the same Pitch Black cardstock.

Here’s a little video for this one:

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and one of the Extraordinary Extras.

The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month. This was a really fun stamp set where I wanted to use all the images from the main stamp set and I did just that! I went ahead and arranged almost all the images onto a card panel along with one of the sentiments. I stamped my card panel with Intens-ified Black Ink. You definitely can use the coordinating die cuts in the set but I chose to stamp and mask off the images. I wanted to use the Holiday Treats Cling to stamp the background behind all the images. I stamped that with Moss ink. Then all I needed to do was color it up!

My second project focuses on the Cling Stamp of the Month, which I paired with an older stamp set called Winter Town Cheer Stamps. Admittedly, this cling stamp has a lot going on, however, I really didn’t want to color up every last bit — imagine how many markers I would be using! I decided to first create a holiday rainbow card panel. The colors include Red, Orange, Yellow and Green, and I pulled out the cardstocks Kiwi, Canary, Papaya, and Cherry. I trimmed down some strips and adhered them to an A2 card panel. Then I went ahead an stamped the Cling Stamp with Intens-ified Black Ink. I used coordinating alcohol markers to color in the background, but made sure they were just a TAD darker so the images would pop. To finish off the card, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Winter Town Cheer on Pitch Black Cardstock using White Embossing Powder.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and one of the Extraordinary Extras.

The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month. Hero Arts does silhouettes well and they are perfect for creating a little scene. I wanted to play with white space for a simple card. I masked off about two inches for the top, and ink blended five different colors for a fun and bright background. I used Grape Juice, Butter Bar, Azalea, Cornflower, and Papaya.

My second project focuses on the Haunted Romance Fancy Dies, which is one of the Extraordinary Extras. I also paired it with the September Fancy Dies of the Month called Mirror Portraits. I die cut items from using different cardstocks for a bit of variety, but I did use copic markers for the rose die cut from the Haunted Romance Fancy Die because I wanted the added details. Once I had all my pieces, I arranged them on a panel of Cranberry Cardstock, which I darken up the edges of with Charcoal Core Ink. I also stamped out a sentiment from the Halloween Messages stamp set to finish off the card.

• 12 Coordinating Dies
• 5 Fancy Dies
• Jungle Scenics Stencil, 6″ x 6″
• Olive Hero Wax
• White Plastic Palette Knife

• 5 Printed Sticker Sheets, 6″ x 6″

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and the Clear Set + Dies of the Month.

The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month. Hero Arts does silhouettes well and they are perfect for creating a little scene. I also wanted to play with creating a side bar with the dies that come in the card kit as well. I used the larger palm leaf die and cut two of them out of Kiwi cardstock placing them on top of a 1.75 inch strip of Palm cardstock. Then, I used a mix of Deep Ocean and Periwinkle core inks paired with Intensified Black ink to create the little scene on the right hand side. To add a little something extra, I lightly inked Butter Bar on the edge of the card for a bit of color.

My second project features the Fancy Die of the Month, which features Jungle Vines and Critters. I couldn’t resist taking my copic markers to the die cut window but I took a few liberties creating my own oval shape for the frame. Once I finished coloring, I just popped it on top of Pitch Black cardstock so my colored die cut would really pop. For the sentiment, I pulled out the Everyday Sentiment Strips along with the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die for a simple one. I thought that the “Wishing You All The Luck” works so well with this card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup can be found on the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from ‘s blog and your next stop will be . The full blog list will be updated below!

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and the Clear Set + Dies of the Month.

The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month. Hero Arts does silhouettes well and they are perfect for creating a little scene. The images also allows me to take advantage of white space for a card! I stamped out my ocean image with Hero Arts Summer Sky Core Ink and that is what my card revolves around. I next stamped out the sailboat, the birds and the sentiment using Intens-ified Black Ink. To add a bit of color to the card, I ink blend Butter Bar, Ultra Pink, Orchid and Summer Sky for a sunset look. I also realized after the fact that my “ocean” was actually meant to be clouds BUT I guess that just shows how versatile this set is!

My second project features the Clear Set + Dies of the Month, which features mermaids and seahorses. I really wanted to do a scene card BUT I opted to go for a simple one to challenge myself since I find the harder for me. I picked out three Hero Hues reactive ink colors: Blue Hawaii, Pool Party, and Splash along with a card panel of the Luxe Watercolor Paper to do some ink smooshing! I used a plastic bag to achieve this fun look — first by adding the ink to a palette or glass mat, spraying a little water and picking up the color with the plastic bag and transferring it to the watercolor paper. My tip is to not use much water so you can get some of that texture. I stamped the mermaid and seahorse, coloring them up with copic markers before using the coordinating die set to cut them out to add to the card panel, which I matted on Peacock cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

The first card focuses on the Premium Kit. I immediately fell in love with the Balloon Background Cling Stamp — it is so versatile. You can use it for birthdays, celebrations, new babies, and more! I picked out a few fun colors to smoosh ink with: Taffy, Lemon Drop, Blue Raspberry, Splash, Blue Hawaii, and Thistle reactive Inks. I used a piece of plastic I had to pick up the ink after I put it on a glass surface and sprayed a little bit of water. Using these on top of the Luxe White Watercolor paper, it created a really colorful background. I used the Congrats Fancy Die to cut out the sentiment from this inky background and removed the border. I matted it on Pitch Black Cardstock to really make the Congrats Fancy Die pop!

My second project features one of this month’s add ons dies, the Hooray Birthday Cover Plate. I pulled out a rainbow array of cardstock: Cherry, Papaya, Canary, Kiwi, Peacock, Amethyst, and Ultra Pink. I trimmed down the cardstock to half inch strips. I covered an A2 panel with double sided adhesive and covered the panel with strips diagonally. I used the Hooray Birthday Cover Plate and die cut it using Black Glitter cardstock. I added the die cut panel right over the rainbow striped panel so all those colors pop through. It’s so fun right?!

Hero Arts March MMH Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hi crafty friends! Today, we are hopping along to introduce the March 2024 My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts. There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup can be found on the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from Rachel Kleinman‘s blog and your next stop will be Seeka. The full blog list will be updated below! This month’s collection focuses on peace, love and kindness! Here is a peek at the Classic Kit:

The Classic Kit includes:

  • Clear Stamp Set, 6” x 8”
  • Frame Cuts
  • Cover Plate Window Die
  • 2 Rub-On Transfer Sheets
  • 3 Ink Cubes (Cherry, Periwinkle & Deep Ocean)

and the Premium Kit (along with the Classic kit items) includes:

  • Clear Stamp Set, 4” x 6”
  • Frame Cuts
  • Translucent Pinks Hero Hues Enamel Dot

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and add ons!

The first card focuses on the Classic Kit. I’ll admit that I’m not a big fan of solid stamps because my preference is just to color but one that builds a scene in this sketchy kind of way along with silhouettes is something I can get behind. I used the 6″ x 8″ stamp set along with the Periwinkle, Deep Ocean, Cherry and INTENS-ified black ink pads to stamp this scene up. You can create any type of scene you’d like and interchange all the silhouette images. It’s so fun and easy! I also couldn’t resist using the Rub-On Transfer Sheets to add a little flair to the card. It reminds me of those old asian paintings with the scene and then the writing over it — exactly what this card looks like.

My second project features a one of this month’s add ons set, the Ramen Bundle and the Origami Paper Bold Prints. I love split card designs, it’s usually a great way to use up pattern paper or add some interest to a card. I stamped the Origami Paper Bold Prints on both white and Cherry Cardstock using the Cherry Core Ink. I used half of it on one side, half on another side. Then I stamped some of the images and sentiments from the Ramen Bundle using Cranberry Core Ink and placed them on my card panel.

Here’s a little video for this card above:

The full blog list will be updated below! This month’s collection focuses on peace, love and kindness! Here is a peek at the Classic Kit:

The Classic Kit includes:

  • Clear Stamp Set, 6” x 8”
  • 17 Coordinating Frame Cuts
  • 4 Tag Fancy Dies
  • Unicorn Ink Cube
  • 6 Sheets White Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
  • 3 yards of ribbon/twine

and the Premium Kit (along with the Classic kit items) includes:

  • Clear Stamp Set, 3” x 4”
  • Imagine Peace Fancy Dies
  • Sun Stencil, 6″ x 6″
  • Ephemera Pack, 48 Pieces
  • White Embossing Powder, 0.5 oz.

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and add ons!

The first card focuses on the Classic Kit. I love floral stamp sets and this one was such a fun one. I love how it looks and I thought it would be such a pretty background if I stamped it around the center of the card. I stamped it the image with Green Apple on Kiwi cardstock. This turned out really pretty!

My second project features a one of this month’s add ons set, the Cosmos & Lavender bundle. I just love the florals and decided to create a diagonal border of the floral clusters. I stamped and colored them in copic markers.

Hero Arts MMH Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hi crafty friends! Today, we are hopping along to introduce the January 2024 My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts. There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup can be found on the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from Channin‘s blog and your next stop will be Natasha. The full blog list will be updated below! This month’s collection focuses on letters and watercolor pencils! Here is a peek at the Classic Kit:

The Classic Kit includes:

  • 5 Floral Color Layering Stencils
  • Heart Fancy Window Die
  • Love You Fancy Word Dies
  • Love Messages Clear Stamp Set, 4″ x 6″
  • 6 Sheets of Camel Watercolor Paper, 5″ x 7″
  • 3 Core Ink Cubes – Moss, Azalea, Summer Sky

and the Premium Kit (along with the Classic kit items) includes:

  • 10 Flower & Leaf Fancy Dies
  • Gold Leaf Flakes
  • Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen
  • Pink Gold Metallic Spray

I have two cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit and add ons!

The first card focuses on the Classic Kit and one item from the Premium Kit. I created the base of my card using the 5 Floral Color Layering Stencils using the following Hero Arts Reactive Ink colors: Thistle, Grape Slush, Berry Smoothie, Pool Party, and Blue Hawaii. This turned out really pretty!

Then I decided to use the Love You Fancy Word die. Originally, I wanted to do an eclipse card but I thought the background was a bit busy and I wanted the words to really stand out. I die cut a couple of the words, stacked them and used Pitch Black cardstock right on top. I also stamped out a supporting sentiment from the Love Messages Stamp set. To finish off the card, I used the Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen right over the Love You Fancy Word Die to add a bit of sparkle.

My second project features a one of this month’s add ons set, I Love U Stamp & Cut XL along with the Ode to Andy Warhol Script Bold Prints background stamp. I saw the font for the I Love U Stamp & Cut XL set and immediately thought about subway art — bold handwriting over delicate font. I first stamped the Ode to Andy Warhol Script Bold Prints in Cotton Candy core ink, and then I used the I Love U Stamp & Cut XL set to stamp over the background on the top and bottom, leaving room for the coordinating dies in the middle of the card.

If you’re more visual, here is the corresponding reel:

Hero Arts MMH Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hi crafty friends! Today, we are hopping along to introduce the December 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts. There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup is at the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from Seeka‘s blog and your next stop will be Jennifer. The full blog list will be updated below! This month’s collection focuses on letters and watercolor pencils! Here is a peek at the Classic Kit:

The Classic Kit includes:

  • XL Alphabet Clear Stamp Set 8 x 10
  • 10 Watercolor Pencils
  • 10 Sheets Watercolor Paper, 8.5″ x 11″
  • Alphabet Cover Plate Die
  • Water Flow Brush

and the Premium Kit (along with the Classic kit items) includes:

  • MHP1223C Numbers Clear Stamp Set 4×6
  • Fine Line Applicator
  • Sea Salt Reinker
  • Gold Glimmer Metallic Ink

I have three cards to share with you today featuring this month’s kit!

The first card focuses on the Classic Kit. I used all the items from the kit to create this card. I used the Watercolor Pencils with the Water Flow Brush to create a blue/purple ombre fading to white. I used the Alphabet Cover Plate Die to cut out black letters AND dry emboss onto my background (which is so hard to see in photos but it adds a subtle texture). I stamped the balloons from the XL Alphabet Clear Stamp and fussy cut them out add to the sides of the sentiment. This kit allows you to create any sentiment you want!

My second project actually features a planner spread using some of this month’s add ons, Weekly Planner and Months. I also pulled the Winter Town Cheer stamp set to decorate. The add ons create a quick planner spread and there are a bunch of elements to stamp out an easy spread.

If you wanted a visual of how I put this together, here’s the little video that corresponds:

My third card is a super simple one using the Classic Kit and an add on item, Message Basics. I used the Watercolor Pencils to create a rainbow background with the Water Flow Brush. I actually used the Alphabet Cover Plate Die for my first card and took the background to place right on top of the watercolor panel. To finish off the card, I used the Message Basics stamp set for a simple Happy Birthday sentiment.

Here’s a quick video sharing how I put it together:

Birthday Blog Hop | Pretty Pink Posh

Pretty Pink Posh turns 9! We’re celebrating with a blog hop and there are EIGHT $25 gift certificates up for grabs (there’s a winner each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 2/15/2023. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

Hi friends! There have been so many amazing projects already shared and there’s so much inspiration so be sure to check out the last few days and today’s lineup! For today, I’m sharing this really fun card that I put together using some of the new items from Pretty Pink Posh’s birthday release.

Whenever I’m not sure where to start, I always start with rainbow. Pretty Pink Posh has started releasing hot foil plates in their classic font and I’m loving them so much! I used Hot Foil Large Celebrate with Spellbinder’s Glimmer Hot Foil – Rainbow. It’s awesome since it includes all the different colors!

To pivot off of the sentiment, I pulled out three Distress Oxide inks and decided to do some ink smooshing for my background panel. Since I picked colors that will mix well with each other, I got all the different rainbow colors.

I grabbed a bunch of rainbow colored scraps to use with the Birthday Balloons stamp set. I wanted to include some gold, so I stamped with Versamark ink and then used Gold Rush Embossing powder. Because I was using colored scraps, I didn’t want the outline around the balloons so I stamped the balloon outline in black and then I fussy cut them out. It was so fun to include three different rainbow elements into this card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I gave you some inspiration using some of the new products from Pretty Pink Posh. Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win the birthday giveaway for this blog hop. The full lineup for today is listed down below and I’ll be sharing more inspiration with the new release over on my instagram as well!

Here’s a quick video for this card as well.
