You can mix and match using inks and markers. I do it here with the carrots. 1) I ink them up using distress inks to color them up and then 2) I use copic markers for a bit of added details to the carrots.

I have two cards to share with you today featuring the Card Kit of the Month and the Whole Studio Bonus Stamp & Cut Set.
The first card focuses on the April Card Kit of the Month. I stamped the large image using using Intens-ified Black Ink on my card panel, coloring it in with alcohol markers. I decided to use the coordinating dies to cut the image out and then also use the bell shape die out of Pitch Black cardstock. I pulled out a piece of Nautical cardstock and decided to use one of the images to heat emboss the background with gold embossing powder — I thought it was a nice detail to add to the background. I incorporated the same heat embossing for the sentiment to blend into the bell shape die.
My second project focuses on the Whole Studio Bonus Stamp & Cut. I wanted a simple card to focus on the little froggies, who I thought were so cute. I stamped the two froggies where I wanted them to go, and stamped it on masking paper so I could stamp the Cling of the Month using Cornflower ink. I also decided to mask off the bottom portion of the card panel, so I could use ink blend the top portion all with the Cornflower ink. I then stamped the sentiment using Intens-ified Black Ink right under the froggies.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

Don’t want to color? Can’t color? This is an easy way to color up images and it’s kinda a vibe. I love that it has that artsy look.

Ink blending can be messy and not super blended but the trick is white splatter — it pulls everything together and your once unblended, icky looking background looks amazing!

Rainbow stamping is really fun and also requires no coloring! I like to do this with detailed stamps because it really amps up the colors so you can fill up the card panel!

Small images = perfect background for a sentiment. Spring is almost here and this is the tweetest card to kick off the new season!

This new stamp set is kinda fun because you can pick a pre-set mini scene or you can create your own little one! I decided to focus on the pot and kitty, masking and stamping them several times. This was an easy scene card and super fun to color up.

I always love a simple card — they are the best for mass production. This could be simpler but I couldn’t help myself so I had to pull out my markers for a little bit of something extra.

My go to color palette is rainbow. It’s happy and bright and works for everyone! I don’t mind number stamps but I don’t always know which one I’ll need for a birthday card so I used all of them!

I love a cute simple image. I really didn’t want to color too much, I just wanted to create an easy card. Ink blending is a great way to take up space on a card panel plus you can change up the color combo to whatever you like!

Do you like playing with textures? The 3d embossing folder steps in where I normally would go with white cardstock or pattern paper. The possibilities are endless!

Sometimes, I can’t just stick with one thing — especially when a new release has a collection of items that just go so well together!
