A bold sentiment is always fun and can take the focus of a card. With this one, I wanted to add some florals as well to add to the background and I ended up with this card.

Ever repurpose your everyday items into a card? Beer is one of those things that has awesome art — so why not use it to create a card? That’s exactly what I did here and I’m so happy with the result!
P.S. I know this stamp set is sold out but there are plenty of other strawberry images and creatures holding strawberries that you can sub out!

Using the eclipse card technique for a sentiment is always super fun but have you created an eclipse background … you’re simply popping up die cuts to create a more impactful card. I was able to use pattern paper, die cuts, and a heat embossed sentiment for a fairly simple card!

Call me lazy but sometimes a large background takes so long to ink up because of the sheer space. I wanted a quick way to ink it up and I used a brayer with a pair of distress oxide inks. Adding a bit of that something extra, I spritzed it with water and then added my paper to it. With such a fun background, you need a bold image to stand out in front.

Doodles — they are always fun because it’s not about perfection, it’s just for fun. This stamp set is a great example of that and it also comes with the solids so you can easily color it up. Stamping doesn’t have to be perfect and honestly, it’s better that it’s not — it’s whimsical and fun! Don’t you think?

Memorial day weekend is usually the official start to summer and pool season. However, I wanted to get the party started early with cocktails. Plus I really wanted these stamps and I bought them at the end of last year, yet I haven’t used them! So here we are — into my planner they go!
Be sure to come back weekly to check out how I set up my planner spread for each week… I use the same stamps but it’s a different layout.

I’m not a plant girl but I know seed packets are always fun to peruse when I see them. This set was perfect to make into little packets just by adding a rectangle around it! Add a little bit of masking and you got a full card panel card of them!

Large sentiments work really well to take the focal point of a card, so everything else can be minimal. That’s what I did here. These large sentiments are definitely perfect for it.

This stamp set is perfect for setting up an easy scene card. The images are also pretty easy to fussy cut around — that usually plays a factor in whether I’ll mask for a scene or not. Add a bit of ink blending and you have minimal coloring needed.

For today’s card, I used items from this kit. Here’s is my video sharing the kit contents and how my project came together. I’m so happy with how it turned out — I went in with a totally different idea but that’s just how cardmaking goes! Here is my video on how I put this card together.

If you follow me, you know I’m not big on simple cards. I tend to over add and include a ton of coloring. However, sometimes you just need a quick and easy birthday card. Even then, I couldn’t resist but add a little extra on this card by using embossing powder.

I know I tend to do a lot of masking on my cards but sometimes, you have a set that works well with just straight stamping for a scene. I do love the style of these images and I used the florals as accents to the corners of the cards.
