I really love vibrant colors and these Pansies Transfers are so pretty!
I’ve been really loving these transfers because they are so flat! I really need to incorporate them into a card.

I was going to do a bit of ink blending on top of this 3D embossing folder — but instead, I decided to be extra and used my copic markers to add color and extra dimension on this card.

4 Ink Cubes (Thistle, Azalea, Moss, Blue Raspberry)
There’s a ton of inspiration and the full blog lineup can be found on the Hero Arts blog. You should be coming from Jennifer Kotas‘s blog and your next stop will be Charlene Madrid. The full blog list will also be updated below!
The first card focuses on the Card Kit of the Month . This Card Kit contains a fun layering stamp set to create a border of floral tulips. I picked a bunch of Hero Hues to do some stamping with the tulips layered stamps: Forever Green, Fresh Lawn, Orchid, and Grape Juice. I decided to use the layered stamped image on the top portion of my card and the Thank You sentiment that comes in the stamp set fits perfectly. I also decided to add a supporting sentiment (my friend) on a strip of white cardstock. I wanted to add in more of the purple color by adding Eggplant cardstock at the bottom part of the card.
My second project focuses on the Clear Stamps & Dies of the Month, Lovely Flowers. This one is a pretty simple one. I stamped a variety of the flowers using Intens-ified Black Ink at the bottom part of my card panel and then I stamped the sentiment with Moss ink. Then I ink blended the top of card panel with Ultra Pink core ink, using the Large Ink blending brush. It’s a simple and pretty card that you definitely can mass produce.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the two cards I shared today using some of the new Hero Studio collection. Hope you were inspired to create!

Happy Lunar New Year! I thought this year, I’d be a little cheeky with the red envelopes I’m giving to my nephews. Anyway — it’s all in good fun but Hope You Get Rich!

I freaking love this card — 1) it’s uses lights perfectly to mimick the video game console I used to play and 2) masculine cards are so hard to make. This set makes it super easy peasy to create one and there’s a lot of possibilities: Flat, one layered card OR a shaker card OR a pull up card OR a light up card! I’m sure there’s more ideas but I used the lights today and I love it!

This year, I’m trying to use up my colored cardstock — I have so much of it and rarely reach for it! I picked a dark red, adding a subtle pierced background to it. I love how the cake pops just pop!

Lunar new year is happening this week and it’s not like New Years where it’s just a celebration on New Year’s Eve ringing in the new year. It lasts for quite a bit and I love it.
I had to pull out TheCoffeeMonsterZCo’s Large LNY 2025 Doodles to decorate my week for the Year of the Snake paired with the Chinese Zodiac Emotis washi tape. I also had to pull out my gold pen for some elements of gold and red throughout!

This is a fun one because the more chips you stamp and color up, the more money you have! If only, it actually worked that way in Vegas — if you did, you’d probably get arrested.

I rarely will make a card around a sentiment but when I saw this one, I had to! It made me chuckle because it reminded me of the booger one (If you were a booger, I’d pick you) and I just had to build the scene around the carrot images. I love how it turned out.

When I have a small image and I want to keep it simple, I’ll stamp, mask and then ink blending. I love how it looks! Removing the mask is my favorite part. It’s such a simple card that sometimes I feel like it needs something extra — so I’ll use an strip of washi as an accent to the card.

My theme for the week — hobbies! I’m using TheCoffeeMonsterZCo’s Happy Hobbies washi to decorate my planner this week because, well, the tiktok ban is in full effect and whether it’s permanent or temporary, life goes on.
Here’s the little video of it! And of course, I realized I forgot to add

Tone on tone backgrounds are a good way to use up your colored cardstock. It creates a super subtle background and pair it with a pop of color, it makes for an even prettier card!
