Smaller stamp sets are really cool because I love using up all the items in them. This one is the perfect example of it but I did rearrange the clovers without realizing the four leaf clover was place in the middle for a reason but you know what? I tend to create realistic cards with the correct sizing and depth. This racetrack heart gave me a bit of trouble because it was much smaller than the car and it wouldn’t be realistic. Cereal Inspired | Trinity Stamps

When I first saw this release, I knew exactly what card I had to create and it was this one. The Little Charms stamp and die set reminded me of the Lucky Charms cereal and you know what, I haven’t thought about Lucky Charms in YEARS. But it has been a source of inspiration for my cards in this new release.

The best part of stencils is that you can easily mask them to do some partial stenciling, stretching your supplies for a different look. I did this her with the background and it provides a focus point for my image since I didn’t use the bold pattern for the full background.

Mini Lanterns | Trinity Stamps

Let’s create something other than a card today — Trinity Stamp’s newest release includes this lantern die that is perfect for cut decor around the house. I created these two for Chinese New Year — keeping with the red and gold. Also, I’m from San Francisco — Go Niners!

12 Days of Christmas | Trinity Stamps

I’ll admit it — I indulged in a bit of shopping during all the crafty sales and now what? Well, the easiest way to use a bunch of different items for a project is for Christmas! Trinity Stamps is hosting a 12 Days of Christmas featuring a ton of different ideas so remember to stop by the blog to see the full lineup for a bunch of inspiration!

Today – I’m focusing on Gift Boxes!

Gift boxes are super fun and today, I’m using the Trinity Stamps Pillow Box die, which is the perfect little box for a small present or a sweet treat! When I pulled this out, I debated on using pattern paper or solid cardstock but then, inspiration hit and I decided to pull out the Falling Snow Hot Foil plate, which is one of my favorites from the holiday release. I decided to hot foil this plate in the middle of a piece of 4.25 x 11. It doesn’t cover the entirety of the pillow die but it works!

For my first box, I used the Santa from the Santa Mug die, which features a ton of characters that you can also used but I zeroed in on the Santa. For my second one, I used the houses from the Snow Globe Card Die to sit at the bottom of the card. And finally for my third, I picked out the smaller polar bear from the Polar Bear die to sit in the middle.

I did want to add a tag to the gift box, so I pulled out the Slimline Tags, which is a set with so many different sized tags and I chose tone of the smaller to just add a small sentiment, which I pulled from the Holiday Tag Helper. Add a bit of twine to tie it up and you’re done! Add whatever you want inside, and it’s just a cute little box for a holiday surprise.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these ideas for the gift boxes and are inspired to pull out some of the holiday items you picked out, using them to create a bunch of different gift boxes.

Some cards just need a lot of steps. This is one of them but trust me, it really comes together quite easily. My hardest choice here was just the color choices for the palette. I definitely love how this turned out and it’s perfect for Thanksgiving and the fall.
