Easy Toner Card | Picket Fence Studios

I forgot how easy toner card fronts were for creating cards! You can leave it as is or add foil by running in through a laminator or a minc machine. Add a sentiment and you’re done! Easy for mass production!

Coloring but Not Coloring | Picket Fence Studios

I saw this image and fell in love but I really didn’t feel like coloring all the details but I wanted color. I went ahead, stamped this image out and then used a ruler to create lines. I colored it in with a rainbow array of colors and then I used greys and a little blue green to add a bit of dimension. It turned out great!

Watercolor Rainbow | Picket Fence Studios

Sometimes an image is just perfect without any coloring — it has enough details to carry itself. I love this girl who is just carefree. I did a bit of masking so my watercolors wouldn’t move onto the image and used watercolors in rainbow order so they would blend together nicely.

When I don’t want to create a large scene filling up an entire card panel, I’ll do some mini scenes along with partial stenciling or ink blending. The Scene Building Let’s Eat Something Sweet Bakery has a ton of dies that you can pick on to create a bunch of little scenes — this being one of them!

Shadows & Dimensions | Picket Fence Studios

Sometimes you just need some accents to really pull a card together. I used the Bake a Cookie Layering Stencil but it seemed a little flat as is. I used my copic markers to add some dimension to the cookie as well as adding a shadow to the cookie. It really makes it pop!
