Coloring Die Cuts | Honey Bee Stamps

When I first saw this set and all the little pieces, I was intimidated. My best advice is just to jump in and die cut it all. I know dies make it easy because you can die cut out colored cardstock but I like die cutting with white cardstock and coloring it up!

The best part of stencils is that you can easily mask them to do some partial stenciling, stretching your supplies for a different look. I did this her with the background and it provides a focus point for my image since I didn’t use the bold pattern for the full background.

Hot Foiling and Using the Reverse | The Sassy Club

Are you a fan of the Magic Kingdom? I am! So when I first saw the Mouse Gold Foil plate, I had to have it — ASAP! I sat down and hot foiled a ton of background panels, both using the plate and then the leftover foil pieces with a solid plate to get the reverse of the plate so nothing would be wasted! I’ll share close up photos of each card soon!
