Not 2 Shabby | Warm & Cozy – InsideoutJeans by Jeannie

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card featuring Not 2 Shabby stamp set named, Warm & Cozy. It’s a fun holiday set that features cute illustrations and I couldn’t help but focus on the gingerbread man.

For today’s card, I decided to use him as cookies in a cookie sheet, which is sitting on top of a table covered by a wintery tablecloth. It’s perfect for the holiday season.

First, I used a rectangular die to draw the shape on my card. I traced the outside of the die as well as the inside of the die, which made creating the cookie pan really easy. I cut out a mask out Eclipse Masking Paper to cover up this cookie sheet so I could use my Blending Buddy and Blueprint Sketch to color up the entire background. Once I finished, I used the snowflake in the Warm & Cozy stamp set to stamp it randomly all over to create a wintery tablecloth.

Removing the mask, I stamped out the gingerbread man and a couple of the hearts, which are also found in the Warm & Cozy stamp set, creating a platter of cookies.

I went ahead and colored everything using Copic markers keeping a theme of red and green elements on these “cookies”.

To finish off this card, I wanted to add a sentiment and since I stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for the tablecloth, I needed something that would stand out. I chose to stamp with Versamark ink and then heat embossed the sentiment using White Detail embossing powder.

I adore how this card turned out and it’s better than how I imagined it in my head.
