Hi everyone! Thanks for joining us on the blog hop today for LDRS Creative’s new June release. If you are loving critters and spring, this is definitely the release for you. Today, I’m focusing on one stamp set from the new release called Stinkin’ Amazing.
This is a very cute large rubber set that contains lots of images. I really love the main skunk and the floral images. I stamped out a ton of the flowers using Raven hybrid ink and fussy cut all the images.

Using some alcohol markers, I colored them up using the same color scheme of yellow, orange, and red. I originally was only going to add flowers to the bottom of the card panel but once I built my little border, I loved it so much I replicated it on top.
I colored in the solo skunk and wanted him to stand on top of the sentiment. I stamped out the sentiment on white cardstock and matted it on black so it really popped (and quite frankly, matched the skunk).

The background seemed a bit plain with just white, so I pulled out a piece of woodgrain cardstock, added a light blue ink to it and the card really came together. It’s super subtle and you can barely see it but I think it really adds to the card in real life.

It’s a super sweet card and I love how it turned out. The flowers really pop and scream for spring/summer. I hope you’ve been enjoying all the new items and get inspired to create. I’ll be back tomorrow for Day 2 of the blog hop.
Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon for some more inspiration and ideas!

Oh… how cute! Love the scene you created for the skunk!
Last summer, we had a young skunk hanging around our front yard. She was so fun to watch! I named her Petunia. I suspect she is still around although she makes herself scarce now that she’s grown!
