All my supplies for creating this card will be listed down below (with multiple sources when available) for your curiosity and convenience. Affiliate links used when possible.

For my card today, I wanted to play with Gerda Steiner Designs’ On the Table and Lovely Pandas stamp sets along with Heffy Doodle’s Hello Squeakheart stamp set and Pop Up Slider Die set to create one cohesive, interactive scene. I stamped images from One the Table and Hello Squeakheart using Memento Tuxedo ink. Then I colored them up using a bunch of copic markers, but you can use any medium you’d like.

For the background, I wanted to create a birthday scene so I used the balloons from Lovely Pandas. Using Eclipse Masking paper, I stamped out 6 balloons on a piece of cardstock a bit bigger than A2 size since I’ll be using the Pop Up Slider Die to cut my main card base with it. I masked off all the balloons and used Speckled Egg distress ink to add ink to the background quickly. To add a bit of interest, I mixed some Perfect Pearls and Gold Perfect Pearls to add splatter. I also decided to use pattern paper to create a table for my scene.

For the details of the interactive portion of the card, the details are in the video above, but this is one of the most simple interactive cards (in my opinion) to create. Sure, you can make it without the dies (which I have done before) but these do make it really easy and precise.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you got some inspiration to create! Happy Crafting!

Oh, and remember to stop by each blog post to leave a message for a chance to win!

  3. That is a FUN, FUN, card. Perfect combination of stamp sets. Using the pop-up to extend the table was great. Your coloring is exactly what I envision my coloring to be, but it never does take on that depth of richness as yours does.
